Puppy 1
The perfect first class for your young pup (9-14 weeks)! Puppy 1 focuses on early enrichment and socialization through safe play, exposure to new sights, sounds, textures, and objects—all paired with gentle introductions to basic behaviors. A great start for confident, curious learners.

Puppy 2
For slightly older pups (15-20 weeks) to support critical socialization and enrichment. Puppy 2 builds on those first weeks by reinforcing healthy play, introducing structured learning, and easing puppies into foundational manners—all while keeping it fun and age-appropriate.

Manners 1
Perfect for graduates of Puppy 2 class or dogs new to training or that may need a few refreshers. Manners 1 covers all the basics: polite greetings, leash walking, sit, down, stay, and more. A solid starting point for everyday skills—and a great step toward Canine Good Citizen (CGC) prep.

Manners 2
A next-level course for Manners 1 grads. We strengthen core skills, add new ones (like tricks!), and begin real-world applications. Graduation day includes an optional AKC CGC evaluation—a wonderful milestone for many dogs and their people.

Manners 3
For graduates of Manners 2, this class adds distance, distractions, and duration to known behaviors. Think: reliable stays in busy spaces, calm walking around other dogs, and more real-life scenarios. Graduation includes the optional AKC Advanced CGC test.

Manners 4
For advanced Manners 3 grads, this class preps dogs for real-world challenges—urban settings, public transport, and service-dog-level focus. It’s the final step before advanced service dog work, and graduation includes the optional AKC Urban CGC test.

Private Session
Ideal for personalized attention or unique goals — our Private in-person sessions identify goals, then create and execute a training plan. These sessions are not for reactive or fearful dogs, which require special training outside the scope of Greater Dog. Start by requesting a free 15-minute phone consult via our Contact Page. If it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule a 50-minute session.

Tricks Workshop
Open to Manners 1+ grads, this 3-week workshop teaches fun tricks that double as redirection tools and bonding exercises. Tricks keep dogs mentally engaged and focused on you—the most exciting person in the room! The optional AKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN) evaluation is available.

Special Workshops
Periodically we’ll offer workshops that focus on special training goals, like: flipping the script on jump-greetings, coffeeshop and cafe socialization, mouthy teen puppies, etc.. All graduates of Manners 1 are welcome to join. Check for more info as workshops become available.

Things to Bring
Flat collar, martingale or body harness with front-clip option (no prong, choke, e-collars allowed)
6-foot leash (no retractables)
Variety of small, moist treats
Favorite toy and/or food-filled treat holder to help keep pups happy and busy when humans are talking in class (so boring!)
Mat to help them settle in a specific place of their own in class (bathmats and doormats work perfectly)
